so, having been out of education and out of an art course for aages now i've not taken any arty pictures, but i have taken lots of pictures of places i've been! so i'm going to put those up, as i want to share them with people because they're often really pretty!

i don't suppose this is really the place for travel snaps, but i think they'll be a lot better than my abstract rubbish!

so that's what's going to happen. hope you like them!

oh! but before i sign off completely, *why* is your status set to sad? :hugs: elli should not be sad!
and also, to make a journal entry, you just click the journal icon, fourth from the right on the menu bar starting with general.
it's odd, because i completely lost how to do it as well. perhaps it's just unintuitive or something.

ohh was just a sad pondering type of evening....i'm sort of more perky now, i think it was a tiredness thing combined with lots of unfinished work...feeling better now thank you! ah ha i see the journal button!! it's so difficult to see, because it doesn't look like a proper button....but i'm glad i'm not the only one that lost it!

oooo wow great illustrations! a little macabre....reminds me of the Lemony Snicket books crossed maybe with Hilaire Belloc's poetry! i like the style of the pictures though....i must do some more ink drawing, i very very much enjoy it. Trouble is the only good one I've done is a copy of a Beardsley picture so i can't really put it up here!

that's ok, i found the journal button anyway....must've read your instructions wrong and led to it anyway....

my weekend was rather good actually, although i missed out on seeing any whizzbangs :s never mind eh i'll go and play with glitter instead....

yay! i kind of liked the lemony snicket books, thought the way he kept explaining words sort of got on my nerves, but i guess that's what you get for reading books written for dinkypeople!
you shooould! ink is so fun to play with (as my carpet pays testament to :() and is shockingly cheap at my college. and also, thanks for reminding me of old Beardsley... i'm now using him in my graphics projects.
aww, i didn't see any either actually, playing with glitter... and you dispute the fact that you're mad?!
i should really be working on my graphics now actually. eeep.
